I also feel the need to point out the information about background checks is wrong too. Completely. The 7 year rule is only valid in states, that passed legislation over the matter. That said, its a RULE, not a law. NOBODY follows it, and the personal background checkers display your charges, expunged data, and anyting you have been found guilty of. There is no such thing, in this country as 7 years rule and your good. This goes for apartment/lodging aswell. I have spent the last 2 years dealing with this, in 3 of those states, as I have tried to find an opening. Texas/NewMexico/Colorado…….

Shaw’s Supermarket does not hire felons. Incident was 3 years ago and is a deferred sentence that will be wiped away in 6 more months. Was hired then a week later rescinded due to background.
Lyft does not hire felons. I do not have a sex crime/robbery/theft and was turned down to be a driver. My felony conviction is over 20 years old and it comes up on every background check. Your information is not accurate.
When you apply for a job like lyft, doordash, instaccart, etc. They will hire you if you speak the first rejection and have some kind of evidence of “reformation”. I used my rehab certificate but you could use a letter from your priest, therapist, college professor, etc.. Hope this helps.🙂
