Social Media Content Creator

Not everyone is going to reach superstardom with this. However, creating content can become extremely lucrative if you consider YouTube ad revenue, sponsorships, affiliations, and merchandising.

There are loads of content topics to choose from. You can do beauty, lifestyle, educational, social commenting, showcase a specific talent, or advertise your business.

It doesn’t even have to cost that much!

Kris Collins, also known as Kallmekris on TikTok, is known for her various characters. She created them by switching out inexpensive props such as sunglasses or a hat, or simply just using a specific accent or facial expression.

Her TikTok following is just shy of 40 million, and she has received deals from Amazon and Lionsgate.

But, very time-consuming…

There are examples across the board on various platforms, of creators that managed to create an empire of their own, without having to invest a lot of money into it first. It is, however, a very time-consuming career. If you are starting out on your own without a production team, you will need to have decent recording equipment, a well-lit room, and some video editing skills.

Corporate Lawyer

The Harvey Spector lifestyle from suits is not far-fetched once you think about it. With an average of around $115,000 per year, this is the type of career that can take you to the top.

Once you have put in the work and been made a partner, you will likely hold shares in the firm. On top of billable hours and retainer incomes, you will likely earn a cut of large settlement wins as well.

It is a long haul to success but worth it…

This is not a job for the faint-hearted, though. You may need to become quite the shark, get desensitized to certain issues, and make extremely hard decisions. This is also the type of career that does not allow for a lot of time with family.

You will need to attend college for a minimum of seven years. This includes a 4-year bachelor’s degree and then a 3-year law degree. You will also have to pass a bar exam in your state. After all that, you will have to work your way up. This is a long-haul type of career, and your success will not be overnight. However, once you are at the top, you will be swimming in cash.

Professional Athlete

This is easier said than done – not all with talent will make it big. This is also the type of career where you want to get as far as you can, early on, while avoiding critical injuries. Unfortunately, female athletes do not always earn the big bucks their male counterparts bring in.

This is, however, not the fault of those who pay but has largely to do with the concept of who brings more “bums to seats.” This does not mean that women can’t make mega-money either.

Female fighters win too…

Ronda Rousey, a famous UFC fighter, has a net worth of around $13 million. She also has various deals with brands associated with sports. This happens to be a literal fight to make it big, but she did it anyway.

You don’t have to risk your face necessarily; there are many sports to choose from. Olympic winners are paid a hefty sum as well and often get sponsorships and affiliations upon their return home.

Specialist Surgeons

There are a few fields to specialize in after you have finished your seven years of study to become a surgeon. Once again, you will be expected to complete a degree, followed by three years of medical school. Then you will start a residency program that can take another five to seven years, choose your specialty, and pass a board exam.

It is known that plastic surgeons are among those that are the highest earners, followed by those who specialized in orthopedics, urology, cardiology, and otolaryngology. As a plastic surgeon, surgeries are often elective, and patients who want them will fork out hundreds of thousands to get their surgeries done.

No room for error… EVER!

Plastic surgeons can earn an average of $290,000 per year, with top earners reaching up to $500,000+ annually. This is, however, a career you will have to take extremely seriously, as mistakes made can be detrimental to your patients.

Actuary

An actuary’s job is somewhere between a data analyst and an economics expert. They will use statistics and math to work out the financial risks any company may carry at any given moment. When you exercise and buy from the health foods stores, you get points that will lower your insurance premiums.

Repeated car accidents will raise them. Just by how much your premiums are raised or lowered is all calculated by an actuary. Actuaries can earn an average of $100,000 per year.

Software Development

Both Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk made their big breaks developing computer software. Zuckerberg is responsible for Facebook, and Musk created PayPal, among other applications. The digital realm is ever-changing, and consumers need things now that did not exist a mere ten years ago.

Software developers can make upwards ok $70,000 annually while working for a boss. However, patenting your own software and selling it can turn you into a millionaire. You can study a degree in computer science, or you can be self-taught. This is a field that will work for you, if you work for it, in all the right ways.

Entrepreneur/Investment

There are countless ways for you to make a hefty nest egg as an entrepreneur. You can collaborate with celebrities or well-known brands, or you can invest in companies or real estate.

Elon Musk is the richest man on the planet, not only by his brilliant works of engineering but largely because of his investments in the right places at the right time.

Why not get into the ‘movie biz’…

By investing in the right production company, you can share in the profits of high-ranking films, television series productions, and even music releases. You can also start your own company and invest in yourself. The right product or service at the right time can make you a millionaire.

It will be beneficial to have some background in finance, business management, or economics – but often, it really just takes one well-executed idea.

Trader

Buying and selling stocks for a profit is the type of high energy career that can be endless in terms of profits, or it could fail miserably. The idea is to buy and sell stocks in as little time as possible and make a profit from them.

We often see hyperinflation of stock prices when companies do well. This has largely to do with achievements and breakthroughs, such as when Space X successfully launched and landed their rocket in the same spot.

An extremely risky business…

However, stocks can also crash when scandals hit. Environmental issues, conspiracies, and unethical business practices brought to light can break down stock prices overnight.

You will have to know which stocks to go with, which to get rid of, and when to do so. Wall Street can earn you a cool $100,000 on average every year, depending on whether or not you hit the button at the right moment.

Movie Star

This is a grueling career filled with lots of rejection, as you will likely be declined for 99 roles for every 1 role you land. However, if you make it big, you can travel the world to star in films and make millions in the process.

Daniel Craig, known for his role in the James Bond franchise, became the highest-paid actor in the world after a deal for two sequels of Knives Out, which will earn him $100 million!
