What Starbucks Drink Has The Most Caffeine? (2022 Guide)

Many rely on a strong cup of coffee to keep them alert and focused, whereas others may prefer smaller doses throughout the day. Out of interest, the average adult body can safely work through 400mg of caffeine per day, but of course, everyone has their tolerances and needs.

Starbucks has a large variety of caffeinated and non-caffeinated drinks available. Therefore, if you love getting a quick caffeine kick, you may be wondering, What Starbucks Drink Has The Most Caffeine?

Espresso

Espresso

For those who prefer to throw back an Espresso, this is definitely your go-to for a quick caffeine fix. The Starbucks espresso comes in four sizes, a Solo, Doppio, Triple, and Quad. A Solo has roughly 75mg of caffeine, and a Quad contains 300mg. This puts an espresso way above any other caffeinated drink at 100mg of caffeine per oz.

Veranda Blend

If you prefer sipping on a full cup of coffee with earthy tones of lightly roasted coffee, the Veranda Blend may be more to your liking. As of 2022, the Veranda Blend contains the most caffeine compared to other full cups. A short eight oz cup has roughly 180mg of caffeine; a Venti 20 oz cup will put you right over the average daily limit at a whopping 480mg of caffeine.

Pike Place Roast

Pike Place Roast

The Pike Place Roast comes second only to the Veranda Blend, at 155mg of caffeine per short eight oz and 410mg per 20 oz venti-sized cup. It is known for its rich tones of chocolate and roasted nuts. It only contains less caffeine due to the beans getting roasted slightly longer than the Veranda Blend.

Slow and Steady

If you prefer having multiple cups throughout the day, a plain Americano or a milky Caffè Misto should fulfill your caffeine cravings with 75mg of caffeine per eight oz short or 195mg per 20 oz venti.

Caffeine Free

Caffeine Free

If you prefer going low caffeine or caffeine-free, you could try the Decaf Pike Place Roast. An eight oz short only has around 15mg of caffeine, and a 20 oz venti will have a maximum of 30mg of caffeine in total.

  • Hot tea
  • Frappuccino
  • Iced tea
