My comment: we pay money to have a 2-3 day delivery service as a “member of prime” This is why we bought the service is to have a quicker delivery service or at least combined packaging with conscience reasoning. I can understand delays, but the problem here has become that EVERY order is now delayed, split up into separate packages and worse, in some cases the items aren’t even put in a ‘real box’, but sent in the general packages you would get at the store. By doing this, whatever we have ordered (in our case a microwave) was damaged in delivery to the point that it was destroyed. What exactly again, are we paying prime for at this point?

  2. I have been an Amazon Prime member almost as long as there has been Prime. I understand about weather, lack of drivers etc., but Amazon is taking 10-14 days on average to ship an item. I am in almost dead center of Washington State. I have Amazon to the left of me, and Amazon to the right of me. NO EXCUSES.

  3. Nope. I’ve had several conversations with them lately and while the reps will apologize there is NO INDICATION that shipping speeds will return to the 2 day expected time. As a 12 year member I know what to EXPECT from them and I’m definitely NOT getting it. I’m planning on cancelling my prime just as soon as my husband is on board. So far I’m just NOT ordering from Amazon if I can find it elsewhere so they’re already losing business. Walmart (not Walmart+) took my 7pm order, SHIPPED IT THAT DAY and it was here with 2 days per usual. SAMS CLUB is even delivering faster than Amazon these days.

  4. Ordered Dec 22 not shipped until Jan 21: ordered Jan 6 not shipped until Jan 22- why bother? WalMart is cheaper and ships within a day or 2. These are large orders if small items $4k worth. You think Amazon would like to keep their clients. No apologies, no discounts- just sit and wait.

  5. I’ve been trying to get a container of popcorn delivered since January 24th, it’s currently February 18. I’ve had to re-order 3x and yet to receive it once. I don’t know wth is their problem of late, I’ve purchased from Amazon since early 2002.
    Everytime the day or day before it’s supposed to deliver, it gets changed. The first time supposedly it was discovered to be damaged the day was supposed to deliver. So had to order again at new higher price Feb 2nd, then the night before the 10th delivery day, suddenly the delivery date changes to Feb 28th, even though if I ordered that day it was saying would deliver the 16th. It wouldn’t let me cancel, but eventually through chat I was able to get canceled. That was Snappy because Orville had suddenly been Out Of Stock, but when that 2nd order did that, Orville was back In Stock, so I ordered 2 of it & got the Snappy cancelled. The 2 Orville were supposed to deliver Feb 17th, on the 17th it changed to between 18 to 21st, today the 18th it now says 21st. Supposedly due to severe weather, but it shows at an Amazon warehouse in my city a few miles from me since the 14th and it’s been a nice warm week this week, so severe weather seems more malarkey. It’ll probably end up Lost in the mail. And whenever they do Lose it in the mail and you wait several days to confirm it’s lost so they will approve a refund, as soon as you accept the refund, since you’re apparently never going to receive it being lost, they immediately change the tracking in your orders from saying Lost, to Buyer Refused Delivery.
    That 1st order back Jan 24th, they gave it to UPS to deliver and UPS was the one to discover apparently the package was open inside the box or envelope. UPS site said Returning to Sender and Amazon said Awaiting Return before I would be refunded. UPS also had on the same tracking page that Contents Empty Container Discarded. So after waiting several days with no return tracking and Amazon saying Awaiting Return, I contacted UPS and asked what was being returned if the container was discarded. they confirmed that NOTHING was being returned, that they usually would start a claim BUT Amazon wants customers redirected to Amazon. So I had to contact a chat person at Amazon and explain there isn’t going to be an item returned, so they finally put in for me to get a refund. I would have been waiting forever to get my money back between these two clowns while they show returning and awaiting return for items that aren’t ever going to be returned. It’s just ridiculous and if they never deliver the item through no fault of the buyer then you shouldn’t have to pay the new increased price each time to order it again. They should just send you a replacement if that’s what you want since they never delivered your original order and it was not your fault. I can’t believe how difficult it has been just to receive a dang container of popcorn, I ended up running out a couple days ago and just bought some at the local grocery at a only slightly higher price.

  6. I will make Walmart my most purchased from instead of Amazon Prime. Amazon promises are longer believed since it takes so much longer now to get my purchases. Walmart is much faster. If Prime doesn’t get better in the future, they can do without me.

  7. Your excuses and apologies are unacceptable. Ebay is undercutting you on pricing as is Walmart! And delivering twice as fast! You used to have great customer service and very good pricing. What went wrong here ? Explain. No excuses, just explain!

  8. Yeah, I’m about done with Amazon. The last few months or so I rarely get my items on time. It’s a pretty big deal when it’s animal food and literally plan for it to get here right when it’s about to run out. This service is becoming so unreliable and I’m wondering why I’m paying a monthly Amazon prime membership. I live in Washington state and there are multiple Amazon locations around me. Why advertise a next day delivery date and let the product sit without shipping for days? Absolutely ridiculous.

  9. My last 2 orders have never been delivered. I’m just cancelling and will order through Walmart – will also stop my Prime when it expires – I love the streaming but can less for streaming elsewhere – the benefit was streaming and better shipping times. Now that isn’t happening at all.

  10. If they would just do what they say they will do. Don’t promise it on a certain day unless you can deliver. Once promised, make it happen. Bottom line, they can no longer be trusted to keep their word.

  11. I need to understand why it takes Amazon 3 to 4 weeks to deliver to Puerto Rico! We are part of the United States and we share the same USPS system. I have been given different excuses by their customer representatives until finally the last one, couldn’t give me a logic explanation. I am a Prime Member and I am careful to order Prime products, but everytime I order a package, Amazon holds the shipment for 2 to 3 weeks. Once it’s shipped it takes the regular shipment time of one week. My daughter sends me packages from Atlanta and USPS always takes one week to deliver. So why every time I place an order, it takes Amazon 3 to 4 weeks to deliver?! In addition, why Amazon does not take into consideration my Prime membership in Puerto Rico? Why there is a discrepancy on delivery and membership policies when I am in Puerto Rico? How and to whom should I address this issue to in Amazon Corporate Office?
